About

The toys

Happycloud Thunderhead toys are handmade and designed by me, Daniel Allyn Lee. Most of my plush dolls are made with soft prewashed polar fleece and cotton, with felt appliqués, and stuffed with premium polyester fiberfill. All of my toys are one of a kind. I sometimes make similar kinds of dolls but they are all unique in their own way.

The place

Happycloud Village is located in the Kingdom of Thunderhead. It sits somewhere between Thunderhead Castle and the Forgotten Forest. It is a friendly little elf village. The elves there are nice, helpful people, for the most part, and try to live in harmony with nature. Although its not easy for them when they live in such close proximity to evil.
The rulers of Thunderhead come from a long line of terrible, ruthless tyrants. The evil Queen in always launching some horrible plot to extend her power and take over as ruler of the world. The king was driven mad years by a wicked sorceress and is very dangerous in his own right.
Happycloud Villiage is also near the Forgotten Forest, a dark and foreboding wilderness inhabited by monsters, goblins and all kinds of creatures. While, not all the monsters are mean and scary its still not a place you would want to get lost in alone. Many a man and elf have entered the Forest and never returned.
Other places in Thunderhead Kingdom include the dark and depressing City of Drizzle, the raucous bustling Town of Stormfront, the Bigsand Islands, and the Echo Mountains.

The artist

I'm an artist and designer lost in the woods of Western Wisconsin. I've been working on making plush dolls and other various art and design projects for the past few years. Although, my background is in the fine arts, I've always been inspired by cartoons, comics and video games. I’m most happy when working on some kind of creative project, sewing, painting, drawing, etc… I love thinking up ideas for fun new creatures, goofy monsters and crazy characters. I enjoy letting my imagination loose in the world of fantasy; inventing adventures for an assortment of heroes, elves, monsters and evil villains.
